- Academic level, institution, and subjects you are studying

- International bank transfer — governed by your bank’s policies
We receive confirmation of payment from these processors but do not access your full financial details.

- With tutors: We share the subject, level, specific topics, and session requirements with the tutor matched to your session so they can prepare appropriately. We share only what is necessary for session delivery.
- With payment processors: As described in Section 5.
- With analytics and website service providers: We use third-party tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how our website is used. These providers may process your IP address and usage data subject to their own privacy policies.
- As required by law: We may disclose information if required by a valid court order, regulatory authority, or other legal obligation under Indian law.

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide the service and fulfil the purposes described in this policy:
- WhatsApp and email communications: Retained for up to 2 years from the date of last interaction, after which they are deleted unless there is an ongoing dispute or legal obligation to retain them

- Session notes: Retained for as long as you are an active student; may be requested for deletion at any time
- Website analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymised form after 26 months

No data transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to us, but we will notify you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.
11. Children’s Privacy
MPB serves students of all ages, including minors under 18. Where a student is under 18, we expect communication and booking to be handled by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data without parental consent, contact us at care@myphysicsbuddy.com and we will delete it.

Our website contains links to third-party sites including Google Meet (session platform), PayPal (payment), Trustpilot (reviews), and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal data to them.
