These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the My Physics Buddy website at myphysicsbuddy.com and the tutoring services offered by BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited (“MPB”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you agree to these terms on their behalf and accept responsibility for their compliance.
1. About Us
My Physics Buddy is operated by BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited, incorporated in India (CIN: U93000BR2015PTC023959). Registered office: FNO-401, Aryan Residency, Bailey Road, Patna, Bihar 801503, India. 2. Our Services
MPB provides private 1:1 online physics tutoring sessions delivered via Google Meet. We also provide academic guidance on physics homework, lab reports, and projects within tutoring sessions as a learning support tool. We do not provide essay writing services. We do not provide proctored exam assistance.
Bookings are made through WhatsApp or email. There is no self-service booking platform — all bookings are handled by our human helpline team who match students with tutors.
Our services are available to students at school, undergraduate, and postgraduate level across the physics subjects listed on our Subjects page.
3. Booking and Payment
How booking works
You contact us via WhatsApp (+91 8971 383660) or email (care@myphysicsbuddy.com). Our team confirms the tutor, session time, and fee. A session is confirmed only once full payment has been received. We do not reserve session slots without payment.
Payment
All fees are in USD. Payment must be made in full before the session begins via PayPal, credit or debit card (through PayPal guest checkout), UPI, or bank transfer. We do not accept payment after a session has been delivered. By paying, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
$1 Trial Session
New students may book one 30-minute trial session for $1. This offer is available once per student. The trial is a full tutoring session subject to the same terms as paid sessions. The $1 fee is refundable in full if the student is not satisfied and requests a refund within 24 hours of the session.
Pricing
Our published starting rates are indicative. Tutors set their own fees within our guidelines. The exact fee is always confirmed before booking is finalised. No additional charges will be applied beyond the agreed session fee without your prior consent.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Our refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellation 48+ hours before session: full refund
- Cancellation 24–48 hours before: 90% refund
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before: 80% refund
- Student no-show: 50% refund
- Tutor no-show: full refund or free replacement session at the student’s choice
- Session unsatisfactory: contact us within 24 hours for replacement or refund consideration
Refund requests must be submitted to care@myphysicsbuddy.com. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. See our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Academic Integrity
MPB’s tutoring services are intended to support learning — helping students understand physics concepts and develop problem-solving skills. Students are responsible for ensuring their use of our services complies with their institution’s academic integrity, honour code, and assessment policies.
MPB does not condone and will not facilitate academic dishonesty, including but not limited to: submitting tutor-provided solutions as the student’s own original work in assessed submissions, using our services to assist in live proctored examinations, or any other use that violates an institution’s academic integrity policies.
Materials provided in sessions — explanations, worked examples, written notes — are for reference and learning purposes only. Misusing them for academic dishonesty is solely the student’s responsibility. MPB accepts no liability for consequences arising from a student’s misuse of tutoring materials.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on myphysicsbuddy.com — including subject pages, Q&A answers, blog posts, tutor profiles, and all other written and visual content — is owned by BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited or its content contributors and is protected by Indian and international copyright law.
You may access and use site content for personal educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or publish site content without prior written permission from us. You may share links to pages without permission.
Session content — explanations, worked solutions, and notes provided by tutors in sessions — may be used by the student for their own personal learning. It may not be reproduced and published, sold, or distributed to others.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any purpose that is unlawful, dishonest, or that violates these terms
- Harass, threaten, or behave abusively toward our helpline team or tutors
- Attempt to contact tutors directly outside the MPB platform to arrange sessions that bypass our service
- Record sessions and share or publish recordings without the tutor’s consent
- Misrepresent your academic level or the nature of your requirements in a way that causes harm to the tutor or other students
- Use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
We reserve the right to refuse service to any student who violates these terms without refund.
8. Tutor Relationship
MPB’s tutors are independent freelancers. They are not employees or agents of BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited. MPB acts as a matching and coordination service between students and independent physics tutors. The contractual relationship for the delivery of educational content is between the student and the tutor, facilitated by MPB.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
MPB provides tutoring services on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grade improvements, or exam results from use of our services. Educational outcomes depend on many factors beyond MPB’s control, including the student’s effort, prior knowledge, and exam conditions.
Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind beyond those expressly stated in these terms. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited’s total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific session or service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of grades, academic standing, or opportunity, arising from your use or inability to use our services.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version is always published at myphysicsbuddy.com/terms-and-conditions/ with the date of last update. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will notify active students via email or WhatsApp where reasonably practicable.
